On 07/22/2020 40 year old Baletta Belew was arrested on a warrant for FTA-DWI 3rd or More. She was later released after her bond was reinstated.
On 08/02/2020 44 year old Tina Messer was arrested during a traffic stop after a probable cause search revealed illegal drugs. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG3 <28g and Possession of Marijuana <2oz. She was later released on $2,500 bond.
On 08/09/2020 67 year old Ronney West was arrested for Public Intoxication. He was later released on PR bond.
On 08/13/2020 22 year old Jorge Leal and 21 year old Selene Rangel were arrested after a traffic stop. They was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG2 >4g <400g. They were later released on $15,000 Bond.
On 08/19/2020 44 year old Ernie Escamilla was arrested for Unauthorized use of Vehicle, Criminal Trespass, and Theft of Property <$100 after the Mills County Sheriff’s Office received several calls from different citizens about subjects that had stolen a UTV, stolen items from A&B Grocery and trespassing at a local rock quarry. Multiple Deputies responded to the individual calls and it was soon determined that we were all looking for the same person. We learned that Escamilla was a worker for one of the crews working on the local Highways and was staying in a local Motel. He apparently got bored and began drinking. He walked around town and found a John Deere Gator with the keys in it. He took that and drove it to A&B Grocery where he attempted to purchase more alcohol but his credit card was declined so he stole the alcohol. He then took the gator and his alcohol on a road trip out CR 427 where he ended up at a rock quarry, out of gas and intoxicated. The Gator was recovered without damage other than an empty gas tank and released to the owner.
On 08/25/2020 26 year old Adrian Delacruz was arrested on warrants for Driving While Intoxicated BAC GT+0.15, Duty on Striking Fixture, and Reckless Driving. He was released the same day on PR Bond.
On 08/29/2020 38 year old Krystie Sharp was arrested during a traffic stop after a probable cause search revealed illegal drugs. She was charged with Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Possession of Marijuana <2oz. She was later released on $3,000 bond.
On 09/01/2020 42 year old Anthony Griffin was arrested during a traffic stop after a consent search revealed illegal drugs. Griffin was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG2 >4g <400g, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 <1g, and Possession of Marijuana <2oz. He was later released on $19,500 bond.
On 09/02/2020 39 year old Joshua Counts was arrested and charged with Resist Arrest/Search/Transport, Theft of Property >$100, and Theft of Property <$100. He was released after posting $2,000 bond.
On 09/02/2020 27 year old Jesse Savage was arrested on a charge of Assault Causes Bodily Injury/Family Member after Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 410. Savage was later arrested for a Blue Warrant with the charge of Manufacture/Deliver of a Controlled Substance PG1 >1g <4g. Savage remains in custody.
On 09/07/2020 35 year old Seth Williams was arrested for two warrants after turning himself in to the Mills County Jail. Williams was charged with Driving While Intoxicated 2nd and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. He was later released on PR Bond.
On 09/09/2020 64 year old Charles Griffin was arrested on local warrants for four counts of Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact. He was later released on $200,000 bond.
On 09/10/2020 20 year old Jose Puente, 18 year old Justin Zepeda and 22 year old Joshua Andrade-Renteria were arrested during a traffic stop after a consent search of their vehicle. All three were charged with Possession of Marijuana <2oz and Zepeda was additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG2 <1g. They were released after posting bond.
On 09/13/2020 29 year old Colten Barkley and 24 year old Savanna Damon were arrested during a traffic stop after a probable cause search revealed illegal drugs. They were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG2 <1g and Possession of Marijuana <2oz. They were later released on $6,000 bond.
On 09/16/2020 23 year old Jess Hyatt was arrested during a traffic stop for illegal drugs. After being taken into custody Hyatt was able to escape. Hyatt was re-arrested a short time later. Hyatt was charged with Escape While Arrested/Confined and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 <1g. He was later released on $37,500 bond.
On 09/24/2020 44 year old Ernie Escamilla was arrested on warrants for Surety Withdrawal on charges of Criminal Trespass, Unauthorized Use Motor Vehicle and Theft of Property <$100. He remains in custody.
On 09/30/2020 52 year old Moses Valencia was arrested on two local warrants for Failure to Appear/Criminal Trespass and Failure to Appear/Assault Family Violence. He was later released after being given time served.
On 10/01/2020 51 year old Timmy Sims was arrested at Hutchins State Jail and transported back to Mills County for a local warrant for Manufacture/Deliver of a Controlled Substance PG1 >1g <4g in a Drug Free Zone. Sims remains in custody.
On 10/03/2020 23 year old Hunter Maier was arrested during a traffic stop for a warrant out of Brazoria County. The warrant was for Accident Involving Injury or Death. He was also issued two citations for No Driver’s License and No Insurance. At the time of the traffic stop He had two juveniles with him. Family was able to take custody of the juveniles. He was later picked up by Brazoria County.
On 10/04/2020 27 year old Chase Demere was arrested during a traffic stop after a consent search revealed illegal drugs. Demere was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 <1g in a Drug Free Zone. Demere was later released on bond.
On 10/05/2020 52 year old Jesus Linan-Sierra was arrested for Simple Assault. He was later released after posting $500 bond.
On 10/09/2020 36 year old Donald Trumble was arrested at the TDCJ Hughes unit and transported back to Mills County on local warrants for two counts of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle, Theft of a Firearm, and Burglary of a Building. He was later released after being given time served.
On 10/11/2020 28 year old Guadalupe Martinez was arrested on a local warrant for Harboring a Runaway Child. She was later released on PR Bond.
On 10/17/2020 35 year old Jose Bocanegra-Gonzalez was arrested for No Drivers License. He was later released on PR Bond.
On 10/23/2020 26 year old Walter Wilson was arrested on local warrants for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving W/License Invalid W/Previous Conviction. He was later released on $3,000 bond.
On 11/14/2020 25 year old Andrew Legan-Salicias and 19 year old Levi Stovall were arrested during a traffic stop after a consent search revealed illegal drugs. Legan-Salicias was charged with Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance PG2 >400g. He was later released on $10,000 bond. Stovall was charged with Money Laundering and Manufacture/Deliver Controlled Substance PG2 >400g. He was later released on $20.000 bond.
On 11/16/2020 21 year old Dylan Norton was arrested in Llano County on two Mills County warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 in a Drug Free Zone and Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 <1g. He was later released on $20,000 bond.
On 11/20/2020 40 year old Stars Rivers was arrested on a Mills County warrant for Evading Arrest/Detention W/Vehicle. He was later released after being given time served.
On 12/01/2020 35 year old Edward Gonzales and 25 year old Michael Gonzales were arrested on multiple charges. The Sheriff’s Office received a report from Officers with the Killeen Police Department about a female in a local hospital that had been badly assaulted in Mills County. During the investigation it was learned that the victim had been assaulted at a residence in Goldthwaite by Michael Gonzales and transported to the hospital in Killeen by Michael and Edward Gonzales along with another female. After the victim was dropped off at the hospital the three fled to South Texas. Edward Gonzales was arrested on an outstanding Hamilton County warrant for Bond Revocation on a charge of Promoting Prostitution of less than 18 year old Person when he was stopped at a border check point. Michael Gonzales later turned himself in to the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office on several Mills County warrants for Aggravated Assault, Motion to Revoke Criminal Mischief, Delivery of Marijuana >1/4 oz <5lbs in a Drug Free Zone, Delivery of marijuana <1/4 oz in a Drug Free Zone, and Manufacture/Deliver a Controlled Substance PG2 >1g <4g in a Drug Free Zone. . Edward and Michael were transported back to Mills County. Edward wasd released on $20,000 bond and Michael remains in jail on $573,000 bond. The female with them has not been charged yet.
On 12/01/2020 23 year old Jose Morales was arrested in Bexar County on Mills County warrants for Failure to Appear Possession of Marijuana State Jail Felony. Morales was released after posting $15,000 bond.
On 12/01/2020 21 year old Tyler Tindell was arrested in Mclennan County on a Mills County warrant for Motion to Adjudicate/Burglary of a Habitation. He was later released after posting $20,000 bond.
On 12/03/2020 52 year old Randall Ward was arrested on a Mills County warrant for Driving While License Invalid. He was later released after paying a fine.
On 12/03/2020 33 year old Gage Rose was arrested on Mills County warrants for Theft of a Firearm, and Burglary of a Building. He was later released after receiving probation.
On 12/04/2020 37 year old Judie DelBosque turned herself in on a Mills County warrant for Theft by Check. She was released after posting $250 bond.
On 12/09/2020 23 year old Michael Kempf was arrested on multiple charges after a vehicle pursuit through Goldthwaite. Deputy Drake attempted to make a traffic stop on Kempf and Kempf fled. The pursuit resulted in Kempf crashing into a local subject and his two young sons at an intersection, incapacitating both vehicles. There were no serious injuries in the crash. A search of Kempf’s vehicle revealed illegal drugs. Kempf was apprehended and after being examined at the hospital was booked into the Mills County Jail on multiple charges including Evading Arrest/Detention W/Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG2 >1g <4g, Kempf was later released on $20,500 bond.
On 12/09/2020 54 year old John Youngblood was arrested on Mills County warrants for POSSESSION OF A Controlled Substance W/Intent to Deliver/FTA, and Possession of a Controlled Substance W/Intent to Deliver/Release of Surety. He remains in the Mills County Jail.
On 12/14/2020 42 year old Shaun Reutter was arrested on Mills County warrants for Bail Jumping/Failure to appear-Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was later sentenced to TDCJ.
On 12/18/2020 21 year old Eliseo Sanchez was arrested FOR Possession of Marijuana after a probable cause search of his vehicle. He was later released on $1,000 bond.
On 12/23/2020 45 year old Bradley Horton and 23 year old Brandon Horton were sentenced after pleading guilty to multiple charges in Mills and Brown County. Bradley received a 12 year TDCJ sentence. Bradleys charge in Mills County was Theft from The Elderly. Brandon was sentenced to 7 years TDCJ. Brandons Mills County Charge was Theft from Person Enhanced. These cases involved Bradley and Brandon Horton when they stole a tractor and other items from a local farm in May, 2020.
On 12/26/2020 29 year old Hailey Mitchell was arrested in Brown County after a vehicle pursuit from Goldthwaite. Deputy Drake conducted a traffic stop with Mitchell in Goldthwaite. Deputy Drake suspected Mitchell was intoxicated. She was asked to exit the vehicle to continue the investigation. Mitchell fled the scene in her vehicle and headed towards Brownwood at a very high rate of speed. Deputies pursued Mitchell and after having her tires spiked in Brownwood she was taken into custody. During a subsequent search of Mitchells vehicle, she was found to be in possession of multiple pills of different varieties without any sort of prescription for them. Mitchell was charged with Evading Arrest/Detention w/Vehicle, Driving While Intoxicated 2nd, Possession of Dangerous drug, and Reckless Driving. She was later released on $25,500 bond.
On 12/28/2020 38 year old Phillip Jones turned himself in to the Mills County Jail on a parole warrant for Unlawful possession of Firearm by Felon. He was later released after being given time served.
On 1/11/2021 49 year old Deanna Berberich was arrested and sent to SAFP on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 <1g.
On 1/11/2021 57 year old Damon King was arrested and sent to SAFP on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG2 >4g <400g.
On 1/11/2021 53 year old Tracy Smith was arrested in Harris County on a Mills County warrant for Possession of marijuana <2oz. He was later released on $2,000 bond.
On 1/15/2021 38 year old Donal Humphries was arrested on a Mills County warrant for Unlawful Carrying Weapon Prohibited Place. He was later released on $5,000 bond.
On 1/15/2021 52 year old Moses Valencia was arrested on Mills County warrants for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 <1g in a Drug Free Zone. He was later released on PR bond.
On 1/16/2021 19 year old Matthew Dotson was arrested on multiple charges when Deputies responded to several reports of Burglary of Vehicles. Dotson charges with Burglary of Vehicle, Operate Unregistered Vehicle, No Drivers License, and Operate Vehicle W/O Financial Responsibility and a Brown County warrants for Evading Arrest/Detention. He was later released after paying fines.
On 1/18/2021 36 year old Breanna Spencer was arrested in Brown County on a Mills County warrant for Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence. She was transported back to Mills County and released on $20,000 bond.
On 1/21/2021 33 year old Richard Wood was arrested in Taylor County on a Mills County warrant for Theft by Check. He was later released on $2,500 bond.
On 1/24/2021 30 year old Colton Beningfield was arrested on multiple charges including three counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon, two counts of Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon and Possession of Marijuana <2oz. He was later released on $54,000 bond.
On 1/29/2021 36 year old Christopher Cook was arrested on Mills County warrants for Aggravated Assault W/Deadly Weapon and Interfere W/Emergency Request for Assistance. He was later released on $18,000 bond.
